Delaire Graff Estate’s Indochine launches new menu

 

With an insatiable appetite for authenticity, Executive Chef Virgil Kahn recently spent three weeks working and dining in some of Asia’s best restaurants. He has returned to craft a gastronomic experience with his new Afro-Asian menu at Indochine Restaurant, launching 1 November 2018.

He comes to Delaire Graff Estate from an esteemed background, having cooked at Gordon Ramsay’s Maze and Nobu at The One&Only Cape Town. He has been at Indochine since opening its doors in 2010 and today heads up a gifted team who bring together Green gastronomy lies at the very heart of our cuisine, where fresh flavours come from the skill of our chefs and from the produce we choose. Home-grown fruits, vegetables and herbs are picked straight from the Estate’s greenhouse and gardens for our kitchens. They give back to the earth thanks to a functioning wormery, which generates organic fertiliser to help meet the needs of the EstateThe Delaire Graff Restaurant is open for lunch daily from 12:00 – 14:00 and dinner Wednesdays to Saturdays 18:30 to 21:00..

Their focus is to produce beautifully crafted food that reflects the best seasonal, ethically locally sourced ingredients. It’s a philosophy of which they are proud,and renowned for. They pick produce daily from the Estate’s greenhouse and vegetable gardens and are committed to seasonal farming, supporting free-range, pasture-reared livestock and farmers in Africa.
